The Professional Story

For over ten years, my career has lived at the intersection of elite sports and national milestones. From the intense, "no-retakes" environments of two Olympic Trials to the massive logistical scale of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, I have spent a decade documenting the pursuit of greatness in all its forms.

With a portfolio spanning 50+ national events, I bring a veteran’s intuition to every commission. Most notably, my work reached a global audience through the 2022 nationwide Wheaties Box cover featuring Simone Biles, a testament to the split-second precision required on the world stage. Formerly photographing as Allison Cheng, I provide a calm, expert presence that ensures life’s most significant stories, whether on the competition floor or at the wedding altar are preserved with world class artistry and technical precision.

Life Behind the Lens

I believe the most important work I do happens within the walls of my own home. When I’m not documenting milestones for others, my heart is centered on the life I’m building at home with my husband and our son. Whether we’re at the climbing gym or home wrangling our four favorite shadows, three dogs and one very patient cat, our days are filled with the kind of "perfect chaos" that comes with a new baby and a full house.

Becoming a mother while documenting world-class athletes has deeply shifted my perspective. It has taught me that while grand celebrations are incredible, the most important stories are often found in the quiet, honest moments of togetherness. I’ve learned that whether I’m navigating a difficult route on a rock wall (yes, we are a rock climbing family!) or a busy morning at home, the best results come from being fully present, and I bring that same focus to every family I photograph. I’m truly honored to help you remember the beautiful life you’re building, too.
