What specific events do you cover during a gymnastics meet?

Our standard action coverage includes high-resolution, professional photography of every competing athlete on the Balance Beam and Floor Exercise. Additional coverage of March-In is provided, as time permits.

Do you offer a revenue share for hosting clubs?

What do you need from us regarding athlete safety and liability?

Yes. We believe in a mutually beneficial partnership. Apex Motion offers a 10% revenue share of the Net Profit generated from the event gallery. Specific details regarding expense definitions, timelines, and payouts are clearly outlined in our standard photography service agreement.

What happens if the meet does not hit profit goals?

We protect our hosts with a Net Zero Contingency. If a meet generates a net zero profit after expenses, Apex Motion will provide the Host with a complimentary digital download link containing all March-In photos from your gym’s competing sessions as a professional courtesy, delivered within 45 days.

What are your exclusivity requirements?

To maintain elite level coverage and protect our operational costs, Apex Motion must be the sole and exclusive professional sports photographer hired for the event. Hosts agree not to permit other commercial photography entities or boutique photographers to sell images or distribute professional files during the meet and the subsequent 30 day sales window.

Hosts are responsible for ensuring a safe working area for our team on the competition floor. Additionally, the Host confirms that parental/guardian photography consent has been secured through meet registration or standard gym waivers.

For Gym Owners (Team & Individual Photo Days)

  • Our standard offering features crisp, commercial-grade studio portraits set against a clean, ultra modern white backdrop. This includes fast paced, highly efficient shooting that keeps your gym exactly on schedule, alongside pre-distributed ordering forms to make the process completely stress free for parents.

  • Yes. While our classic white backdrop is our signature offering, we are happy to accommodate other background styles upon request to match your gym's specific branding or vision.

  • For hosting a standard photo day session, we provide your gym with a complimentary suite of high end digital marketing assets to save you the cost of hiring a separate commercial photographer. This includes free digital assets for your website, social media, and advertising, featuring:

    • Fast individual staff headshots delivered digitally.

    • 1–2 professional staff group photos delivered digitally.

    • Level team images for all levels photographed delivered digitally for your promotional use. Plus, as a special courtesy and a thank you for hosting us, we will also provide your gym with a printed 8x10 of each level's team photo.

  • Our dramatic, high-fashion chalk portraits feature a deep black, high contrast look.

    *Please note that this specialty session is an add-on to our regular photo days. Because these are highly customized action portraits, our standard host perks (like the complimentary digital media kit and complimentary team prints) are reserved exclusively for our white-backdrop or custom-backdrop portrait sessions.

  • Yes. Chalk is not provided by the photographer. Athletes must bring their own personal chalk or utilize the chalk provided by your gym facility.

  • Yes. Our standard photo days feature specialized portrait add-on packages designed specifically to celebrate your graduating seniors.

For Parents & Athletes (Ordering & Privacy)

  • Because we cover a wide range of competition levels, our photo packages are entirely dependent on the specific event, as different package options are tailored for different meets. Exact package structures and pricing are always fully disclosed before the start of the competition to allow for pre-order availability. You will receive these specific details from your host gym prior to the event weekend.

  • Yes. High-quality physical prints are available for both our competition coverage and our studio photo days, though the offerings differ:

    • For Live Meets: We offer standard print packages at highly competitive, accessible pricing so every parent can take home a memory of the action.

    • For Team & Individual Studio Days: Because our studio portraits feature commercial-grade lighting and dramatic custom setups, our print collections are offered as premium, high-end archival products.

  • Orders can actually be placed at any time. However, to maximize the hosting gym’s payout, the official commission window closes exactly 30 days following the conclusion of the meet. We highly encourage parents to place their orders within this first month to ensure their host club receives proper credit for the sale.

  • Athlete privacy is our top priority. All images are hosted in a private, password-protected online gallery. Access is granted strictly to the purchasing party via a unique, secure login to ensure viewing rights remain completely private.

  • Once a digital meet package order is placed, your secure digital download link will be delivered straight to your email inbox no later than 7 business days after the order date.
